Why did you join AOAO?
I joined the AOAO in order to reach out to physicians and students in the osteopathic orthopedic community and become more involved in the field.

Short Biography:
I have been shadowing in orthopedics since I was a high school student, and I completed my senior graduation project on pathways to becoming an orthopedic surgeon. I competed in the decathlon throughout college and became a product of several operations myself, having had Tommy John surgery done on my right elbow and a spiral fracture repaired in my left tibia.

My interest grew further upon acceptance to Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, where I have come to foster a much greater appreciation and understanding of this challenging and rewarding career field. I love that orthopedics incorporates so much of what I have learned about osteopathic medicine, and will provide me an opportunity to actively participate in the mission of the United States Air Force.
